This year during our adventures at Toronto Comicon we had the pleasure to have quality sit down with George Buza to talk about his returning role as BEAST in the X-Men 97 series. The most fascinating thing about George's iconic X-Men journey is just how much layered correlations he has had in his real life that relates to Beast character. It's kind of spooky in a way. Also around absolutely geeking out this turned into such a soulful introspective chat and a must listen to for any fans on the series.

When George was asked by people "Why is this show so much darker than it was in the 90's" he explains that it's because the world is so much harder to live in. X-Men has always been a reflection of both social and political climates, and he gives us a little teaser of how the upcoming Seasons 2 & 3 may get even crazier as the writers pull from our reality, but the spirit of the show isn't all doom and gloom. The true spirit of the show is the perspective for those who believe in a hope for peace and equality.
